Act On EnergyTM Campaign Receives Award
February 2009 - The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) granted the Ameren Illinois Utilities an AESP Energy Award for the companies’ Act On Energy campaign. Awards were presented at the National Energy Services Conference in San Diego in January. The AESP Energy Awards recognize individuals, teams or organizations that have:
- Contributed to the advancement of the energy services field
- Raised awareness of an energy services program or need
- Represented the “best in class” in designing, implementing or evaluating an energy services program
- Demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing the energy services field
Simantel worked with the Ameren Illinois Utilities to launch the Act On Energy campaign in June 2008. Designed to help customers conserve energy, this multifaceted campaign drove customers to a new website, ActOnEnergy.com. The site serves as a communications hub for the companies’ residential and business energy efficiency programs and incentives, along with energy efficiency tips and company information.
