Simantel Brings Home Gold
March 2009 - Simantel won 5 Gold and 5 Silver ADDY® awards at the Peoria Ad Club’s annual awards ceremony, Friday, February 27. The firm was also recognized with a “Judge’s Choice Award” for the graphics in its office space, which are the result of a renovation that was completed in June 2008.
Other awards honored creative work developed for clients such as Caterpillar, Lakeview Museum, Illinois Central College, and Easter Seals.
Simantel Art Director, Laura Baumgardner, serves as Ad Club President. “I am proud of how well Simantel’s work fared this year,” Baumgardner said. “One of my goals for the club is to generate camaraderie among our creative community. I think the ADDY® Awards does that by recognizing the work of area companies and their clients.”
The Peoria Ad Club is comprised of area marketing communications professionals who come together for events throughout the year. An Illinois chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the club unifies professionals from across the industry. Simantel has been a member of the organization for 20+ years and will be making a presentation at the club’s next luncheon on March 12, 2009.
