Simantel Presents at Local Arts Conference
June 2009 - Simantel recently delivered a presentation at the Illinois Arts Alliance (IAA) annual conference held June 1-2 at the Pere Marquette hotel in Peoria. Simantel’s presentation, entitled Arts and Communication in a Changing Digital Landscape, showed how artists and fine arts organizations can use social media and low-cost digital tools to network, self-promote, and sell their work online. Approximately 40 participants were in attendance.
"Having the opportunity to talk with regional artists about online marketing was a lot of fun," said Andrew Tuma, Simantel’s Senior Digital Strategist. "It’s always encouraging to see how people are embracing new forms of media, and we appreciate the chance to highlight Simantel’s work in this arena.”
Simantel is a marketing and communications firm with services including brand strategy, business communications, advertising and promotion, and training/organizational development. Located on Peoria’s riverfront, the firm has been in business since 1981 and focuses on helping clients build momentum through better communication.
