Simantel Promotion
August 2009 - Simantel recently promoted creative team member Laura Baumgardner to the position of Senior Art Director.
Baumgardner joined Simantel in 2005 as a designer. She has since grown into a more senior role, helping to oversee the creative direction on some of Simantel’s key accounts, including the Ameren Illinois Utilities, Cat Financial, and Lincoln Christian College.
Baumgardner graduated from Bradley University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a minor in marketing. In addition to her responsibilities at Simantel, Baumgardner spent the past year serving as president of the Peoria Ad Club. She has also taught graphic design courses for Bradley University’s Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts.

Simantel is a marketing and communications firm with services including brand strategy, business communications, advertising and promotion, and training/organizational development. Located on Peoria’s riverfront, the firm has been in business since 1981 and focuses on helping clients build momentum through better communication.
