Employees Support Bark in the Park for the Peoria Humane Society
September 2011 - This year marks the 15th anniversary for the Peoria Humane Society's annual event Bark in the Park, and Simantel is once again proud to be a sponsor. Simantel donates its time to such a great cause through volunteer work and employee participation; additionally, the company provides the funding necessary to print the event T-shirts and bandanas for participants and volunteers.
All of this hard work wouldn't be possible without the help of Branded Products Account Manager, Wendy Wheatley. In 2005, Wendy took over as organizer of Bark in the Park for the Simantel team. Many employees are set to volunteer and participate at this year’s event, including Maggie Whalen, Executive Creative Director: "My husband Mark and I have volunteered for Bark in the Park for many years. We work in the photo booth; it's great fun because we get to see just about every dog!"
