Wrapping Up a Big Year, Looking to the Next
January 2011 - As 2011 begins, we look forward to an exciting year ahead. Time moves so quickly, but we should still take the opportunity to look back and appreciate all that we have accomplished in 2010—and those who helped us do it.
It goes without saying that our clients top that list. Without the trust and confidence of the companies and organizations that we serve, our team couldn’t do what it does. Together we created successful brand strategies, raised awareness and launched new products and programs. Big or small, each project was uniquely enjoyable.
We are so grateful for the opportunities our clients have given us, and we will work even harder in 2011 to continue to earn their business and friendship.
We would also like to share some of Simantel’s exciting milestones from the past year:
- 2010 marked the first year of Simantel ownership by Maggie Whalen, our Vice President/Executive Creative Director. We are thrilled that she is helping us lead the company forward. She has been with Simantel for 11 years and has significantly impacted our success.
- We became certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as a minority-owned business. It was a rigorous process, but one we felt was important for our clients who are striving to meet diversity goals. We feel it will provide a definite advantage in the future.
- To support our clients’ ongoing needs, we added 17 new employees. Collaboration and teamwork are the backbone of our culture, and these employees—with expertise in strategic development, digital delivery, creative development and support—add to our capabilities.
- As our business grows, it seems the world gets smaller. This year we were successful in reaching out to fellow members of the Advertising and Marketing International Network (AMIN) on key initiatives that needed global resources. We look forward to more successful work with our AMIN partners, as they bring a global perspective to our clients’ strategic communications.
Lastly, we are proud of our continued involvement in the community. Simantel employees are passionate about their involvement in many charitable and civic groups. They contribute their time and talents to improve these organizations and, ultimately, the lives of many people.
We look forward to 2011 and all the adventures it will bring.
