The Analytics Project Manager will manage reporting and analytics projects and resources to ensure that those projects are completed on time. Day to day, the Analytics Project Manager will work closely with the Analytics, Media, and Project Planner teams in developing and delivering reporting solutions for our clients.

The role requires a self-motivated, well organized, project management skill set, with the ability to multi-task as well as demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The Analytics Project Manager is also an effective problem solver and is adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities for the team:

What you’ll do:

  • Work with all team members to manage the reporting schedule
  • Lead stand-up meetings and ensure continued progress toward meeting delivery dates
  • Maintain a project list to make key information and people for each project available to all team members
  • Manage incoming requests, both ad hoc and project-level.  Assist in estimating and resourcing those requests.
  • Own the analytics quality control (QC) process and ensure that QC is carried out as needed on all reporting and analytics projects
  • Gain a strong understanding of agency process for reporting and analytics
  • Work with Analytics team and Strategic teams to ensure month-end media metrics are delivered and integrated into overall Simantel metrics/analytics reports
  • Assist in estimating analytics and reporting activities
  • Work with Media, Marketing Automation, Creative and Development teams to ensure tracking is setup, insights are developed, and optimizations are recommended to the client team
  • Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and other ad hoc reporting requests
  • Support the Project Planners on the client teams with any topics related to reporting and analytics

What you’ll need to have:

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to set schedules and manage projects and resources
  • Willing to build relationships with all team members and take initiative to have honest conversations to move a project forward
  • Strong facilitator with the ability to probe for key project details that will impact scope or timing
  • Organized and excels at documentation and file management
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and help others meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing in general and specifically in marketing analytics & reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Understand digital media and digital marketing, particularly the data and the reporting tools
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Experience with one or more web analytics tools is a plus
  • Experience with Trello, Jira or a similar tool is a plus

Education and experience:

  • 4-year college or university degree or equivalent experience in marketing or business (or similar concentration)
  • Project management experience in an agency or other related environment is a plus
  • Agile experience a plus
