Marketing Automation Project Planner
As a Marketing Automation Project Planner, my objective is:
To help manage marketing automation projects and deliverables between the initial start of a project to final delivery, working alongside marketing automation subject matter experts and other agency teams.
The outcomes I need to produce for clients are:
- Managing tasks, timelines, and deliverables for multiple projects concurrently
- Communication with agency teams about data privacy rules and reminders
- Provide financial management and on-going management of billing actions and budgets
The outcomes I need to produce for the agency are:
- Knowledge of marketing automation process within the agency and for client governance
- Communication around estimating budgets, implementing adjustments to project quotes and resources as needed to keep projects within budget
- Statements of work written to client requirements
- Assistance and attendance at marketing automation and web development workshops as needed
To produce these outcomes, I need to:
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment, being a driver of quality work
- Be an over-communicator and collaborator
- Build relationships with marketing automation experts and other project planners
- Take initiative to have honest conversations to move a project forward
The skills and abilities I require are:
- Excellent organizational and project management experience
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite including advanced skills in Excel
- Previous marketing automation experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Pardot, Marketo, or HubSpot preferred, but not required
- Previous agency experience considered a plus but not required
To produce these outcomes, I have decision-making authority over the following:
- Budget concerns and when to elevate them to marketing automation leadership
- My meeting schedule and work time
Leading indicators of my success are:
- 100% of marketing automation and dev projects created, estimated, and billed in Workbook on time
Long-term indicators of my success are:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead project scoping and estimating initiatives
- Completion of detailed, accurate statements of work and data privacy documents
- Increased efficiency within the marketing automation team
- Increased understanding marketing automation systems and unique nuances
