Senior Account Manager

Simantel is currently looking for a full-time Senior Account Manager. The right candidate will be the daily contact between the agency and our clients, building positive relationships while interfacing with various staff members to move projects through the agency on behalf of the client.

Stuff you’ll do

  • Become product and market experts for assigned clients and conduct regular account knowledge meetings with internal team
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with client contacts
  • Collaborate with the creative team to present the strategy and creative ideas to client
  • Establish budgets, evaluate billing worksheets and initiate invoice process
  • Estimate projects and manage client budgets, including regular status updates to client
  • Obtain required client approvals – proposals, estimates, concepts, copy, layouts, etc.
  • Provide direction to and oversee Project Manager activities
  • Review the execution of projects with the appropriate parties to ensure client’s strategic goals are met before they are presented to client
  • Work with team on recruitment, development of discussion guide, interviews, analysis and recommendations
  • Work with team to develop strategic marketing and communication plans and implement those plans accordingly
  • Write insightful conference reports and creative briefs
  • Identify and pursue additional business opportunities from existing accounts

Stuff you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing (or similar concentration) is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of account management experience in an agency or other related environment is required
  • Ability to delegate
