At Simantel, we like to think that we approach every client project and brand campaign with an award-winning strategy. So when we entered the B2 Awards contest in March, we were thrilled the Business Marketing Association thought so too.

Our work on LG Seeds, Cat® CT660 and Cat® MineStar System each received an “Award of Excellence” under the division: Marketers – Marketing, Brand and Communications Strategy – Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy.

LG Seeds
The 2011 LG Seeds BIG Campaign was a BIG success—the overall results LG Seeds realized in 2011 were a 21% increase in sales along with a complete sellout of several products.

Cat CT660
In 2011, Caterpillar tapped into a new industry: vocational trucking. And Simantel took the marketing driver seat. We worked with Caterpillar to help launch the Cat CT660, then developed and executed awareness and communications campaigns to build interest —including the development of DriveCat.com. The website had more than 50,000 visits in the first month. Talk about a smooth ride.

To simplify the existing naming system and get the brand’s message out, we helped Caterpillar develop Cat® MineStar System from the ground up.
