You may recognize the song in our company holiday video, “We Are The World.” The collaborative charity song was released in 1985 to raise funds for an important cause. So this holiday, the Simantel team thought it would be wonderful to bring awareness to a great cause, too: Friends of the Children of Haiti (FOTCOH). The locally based nonprofit organization provides medical services, clean water and economic opportunity to tens of thousands of people in Haiti.

Simantel is making a charitable donation to FOTCOH, and we hope you will consider making one also! And while we may not have the kind of star power Michael Jackson (and the other famous musicians we imitate) did to help spread awareness about the worthwhile charity, we have something even better—great friends like you. So Simantel is pledging to contribute an additional $1 gift to FOTCOH for every five views of this video (from now through the end of the year). Please share it with everyone you’d like! Together, we can help make a difference.

    Awesome video for a great cause! Everyone did a fantastic job, but one of my absolute favorite parts is Erin Kennedy as miss Cyndi Lauper… you rock-it-out, girl!

    I must say, it was an interesting experience channeling my inner Michael Jackson. Wouldn’t it be awesome if this went viral and we donated a ton of money to FOTCOH.
