We’re thrilled to share that Simantel and our client, Ameren Corporation, were named finalists in the PR News 2017 CSR Awards in the category of Best Sustainability/CSR Report.
The awards were presented March 22 at the famed National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Roughly 200 thought leaders, agency pros, nonprofit workers and corporate communicators gathered in our nation’s capital to celebrate the best of the best in the CSR arena — from cause branding, to volunteer programs, to workforce innovation and more.
Ameren proudly represented the energy industry and joined some heavy hitters in the Best Report category, including Comcast NBCUniversal, TARGET Corporate, GOJO Industries and Lockheed Martin. Can we say, WAY TO GO?!?!
Collaborating on Ameren’s 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility report, “Achieving Balance,” was a labor of love for Simantel (with a heaping helping of research, strategic thinking, creative execution and web development thrown in, of course). We were proud to help the Midwest-based energy provider migrate from a more traditional reporting format to an engaging microsite.
