• Brings over 25 years of web content and analytics experience

• Joined Simantel in 2016 as a senior web analyst before going client-side and returning in 2019 as a senior insight strategist

• As associate director of analytics, Dann focuses on setting direction, nurturing his team to help them learn and grow in the field and maximizing productivity by removing hurdles

• An in-the-work leader committed to helping clients see the results of their marketing dollars and encourages them to make informed decisions with their marketing efforts

• Prior to Simantel, Dann spent almost 20 years at a large financial services firm involved in a variety of web-related activities including application development, business analysis, user experience research and design, web content management and digital analytics strategy

• Earned a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language and a master’s degree in business analytics; all from Iowa State University

• Loyal to his alma mater, Dann is a fan of Iowa State sports, especially football and men’s basketball

• Spent a year teaching English in China and intended to return, but plans changed when he met his wife and they started a family. He now lives in Iowa and works remotely for Simantel.

Did you know?

If you’re on a video call with Dann, you’ll see a saxophone on the wall that his grandfather played for 50 years. He’s been playing sax himself for over 40 years and plays a handful of gigs a year with a big band in central Iowa.
