Bids for the Braves

Simantel is proud to support Bradley University, the alma mater for several of our staff members. We routinely are asked to be guest speakers in the classrooms as well as at special campus programs. Off-campus, we offer students real-world learning experiences at our office through tours and job shadowing.

Recently, we enjoyed helping Bradley University with the creative development of an event program and invitation for Bids for the Braves—the Bradley University Athletic Department’s largest annual fundraiser. The theme was wild, Wild West and guests were encouraged to dress the part.

Planned by the Braves Club, the event provides members of the public, alumni and Bradley Basketball fans (along with many others) the opportunity to mingle with Bradley athletes and bid on a wide range of unique items through live and silent auctions. Funds raised are applied toward Bradley’s 14 athletic teams, along with maintaining/updating its facilities, recruitment efforts and continued investment in staff and athletic scholarships.
