MINExpo Successful for Caterpillar

September 2008, Las Vegas, NV – Based on the outlook for its mining customers worldwide, Caterpillar Global Mining believes that the future of the industry is about MINING SAFELY, MINING MORE and MINING RIGHT. To ensure that its solutions resonated with MINExpo 2008 show attendees in Las Vegas, it asked Simantel to bring them to life on the show floor.

Dividing Caterpillar’s 40,000-square-foot cornucopia structure into three zones, Simantel designed and consulted on construction of technologically advanced interactive displays, equipment and simulation tools to immerse customers and dealers in Cat’s full range of mining equipment, innovative technology and sustainability initiatives.

Caterpillar Global Mining’s post-show increase in equipment sales, coupled with positive customer and dealer feedback on their overall experience, proved the Expo’s success. It was the fourth consecutive MINExpo for which Simantel and Caterpillar Global Mining joined forces.
