Ameren is dedicated to providing its customers with options and information. One of the ways to demonstrate this commitment was to better communicate to people the variety of ways to pay their energy bill.

Simantel designed an integrated media strategy that involved the simple, but effective message, “So Many Ways to Pay.” Through the use of a television commercial, dedicated webpage, email blasts, and Internet and social media ads, we familiarized Ameren customers with the options available to them to pay their bill—so people can choose the one that best fits their lifestyle. The Direct Pay option was the focal point of the campaign because it offers convenience for the customer, as well as efficient payment processing for Ameren.

The campaign launched January 2013, and to date, has generated 34,000 hits to the landing page.
